About the Author

Emmett Kane is a 14-year-old history enthusiast from Durango, Colorado. He is currently in eighth grade at Mountain Middle School. His passion for World War II began in fifth grade after reading Steve Sheinkin’s book, “Bomb: The Race to Build–And Steal–The World’s Most Dangerous Weapon,” which inspired him to dive deeper into the subject. His research and passion for World War II ultimately led to his first written book. When he is not writing, Emmett enjoys playing baseball and video games and spending time with his brother, parents, two cats, and dog.
